Ridley Bicycles was founded in 1990. Through innovative technical and graphic design, they quickly became the leading manufacturer in Belgium. In 2003 Ridley released its first full carbon road frame, the Damocles, which has since gone on to win countless victories in grand tours, spring classics and more. Its unique Sharp Edge Design tube shaping and oversized head tube proved to be stiff enough for mountain top finishes, yet also just as comfortable on the Belgian pavé.

In their early years, Ridley built the reputation as a company specializing in bikes "tested on the pavé" -- and this Made-in-Belgium heritage was something appealing to anyone sensitive to the rich bike culture of Flanders. But in the years since, they've graduated to the top echelon of race bike manufacturers. They are leaders in every conceivable way: They build light-but-bombproof frames; they build ultra-aero road frames and time trial frames; and they are the undisputed leader of cyclocross frames. Their bikes -- no matter the discipline -- deliver a ride quality, a durability, and a beauty befitting their emerging position as Europe's most dynamic manufacturer of pro-caliber bicycles.

The Noah made its debut at the 2006 Tour de France and was ridden to 5th place overall by Cadel Evans, and first place in the Sprint competition to green jersey winner Robbie McEwen, who also took three stages on his new bike. The incredible frame stiffness in the bottom bracket, integrated seat post, and oversize head tube areas led McEwen to call it “the fastest bike I’ve ever ridden”.

Ridley offers a complete range of bicycles for every type of rider, including 5 complete carbon frames - 4 of which are used by professional teams. Cadel rode Ridley bikes to second place at the Tour de France, Australia’s best finish ever.
